Up to $15,000.00 Sign-On Bonus for Certified

Certified with at least ONE YEAR of experience: $10,000. (PAID IN 2 INSTALLMENTS: $5,000 paid in the first check and $5,000 after one year.)

Certified with at least THREE YEARS of experience: $15,000
(PAID IN 3 INSTALLMENTS:

$5,000 paid on the same date as the employee's first paycheck.

Additional $5,000 paid upon completion of introductory period, including extensions, but no earlier than one year from date of hire.

Career Opportunities: While we operate several specialized units, all our sworn officers are first and foremost patrol officers - the backbone of community policing. They then receive advanced training to prepare them to provide additional, specialized services. The Police Department is also comprised of non-sworn civilians who provide support services.
